Convoy 3x21D
My backyard is a wooded area, and at night, the howls of coyotes can be quite scary for the kids. I wanted a flashlight that could shine far enough (~450 ft away) to see if any of them were roaming around to ensure the kids they weren’t there. After checking out thrower flashlights, I decided on Convoy 3x21D since it was within my budget and had great reviews. After testing it out, it’s an amazing flashlight. It shines bright and far. Honestly, I didn’t really need it, but it’s been fun to have. There’s something satisfying about lighting up the darkness and exploring the shadows in my yard!

User Interface (UI) – How To Use It:
- Turning On and Adjusting Brightness:
- Turbo Mode:
- Flashlight off: Double-click the button to activate Turbo (100% brightness).
- Strobe Mode:
- Flashlight off: Triple-click the button to activate Strobe.
- Tactical Mode:
- Flashlight off: Quadruple-click the button to enter Tactical Mode (100% brightness only).
- Quadruple-click again to exit Tactical Mode.
- Voltage Detection:
- Flashlight off: Quintuple-click the button for Voltage Detection.
- Flash: Low voltage
- Flash-Pause-Flash: 3.7V
- Flashlight off: Quintuple-click the button for Voltage Detection.
- Ramping Mode:
- Flashlight off: Six-click the button to switch to Ramping Mode (1%-10%-40%-100%).
- Lock Mode:
- Flashlight off: Ten-click the button to activate Lock Mode.
- The flashlight will flash once for confirmation.
- Ten-click again to exit Lock Mode (this is the only way to unlock).
- Flashlight off: Ten-click the button to activate Lock Mode.
- Note: The flashlight has low voltage protection and temperature control protection.
